In this dynamic role, you will patrol designated areas, maintain static posts, and respond to emergencies, medical incidents, disturbances, and service requests. You will play a key part in upholding the safety and security of our guests, team members, and vendors while delivering the exceptional customer service that defines our world-class resort experience.

Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Provide world-class service while maintaining awareness of safety and security concerns.
  • Follow company brand standards when interacting with guests and team members.
  • Act as a first responder during emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances, or assistance requests.
  • Maintain working knowledge of the facility, scheduled events, and property layout to assist guests and team members.
  • Assist with currency drops and fills on the casino floor.
  • Gather and document pertinent information related to security incidents involving guests, team members, or the facility.
  • Prepare and present voluntary statements and detailed incident reports.
  • Obtain and maintain all position-specific licensing
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Ability to successfully complete a physical agility test, both pre-hire and biannually post-hire.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and perform under stressful conditions.
  • Ability to successfully complete the internal Security Officer Training Academy.
  • Ability to successfully complete repulse spray training.
  • Ability to successfully complete baton training.
  • Ability to attend and pass all recurring mandatory training, including legal updates, defensive tactics, handcuffing techniques, first aid, and CPR/AED certification.
  • Ability to participate in evacuation procedures to assist guests and team members during emergencies.
  • Ability to operate assigned security equipment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and various computer programs.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and departmental policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a related field or equivalent.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of previous Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Perform basic first aid, CPR or AED application.
  • Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test.
  • Ability to obtain the following:
  • Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Nevada Gaming Card
  • Nevada Drivers' License
  • CPR Certification

    Summary Statement: The Security Coordinator answers the phones and assists with Lost and Found issues for both internal/external guests and assists with issuing replacement and visitor/contractor badges.

    Summary Statement: The Security Coordinator answers the phones and assists with Lost and Found issues for both internal/external guests and assists with issuing replacement and visitor/contractor badges.

    Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:

    • Properly catalog and provide safe keeping of lost and found items.
    • Assist with completion and the filing of various reports.
    • Answer phones, emails, screen and handle routine and/or non-critical issues.
    • Collect and use personal information of guest with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
    • Create and maintain Lost and Found forms and other documents as directed.
    • Coordinate the shipment of property back to the rightful owner.
    • Maintain a full working knowledge and assist with training on Lost and Found procedures and the Visitors Badging System.
    • Oversee the issuing of visitors, vendors and contractors’ badges.
    • Assist with the reprinting of Team Member Badges for lost or forgotten badges and follow documented processes for paycheck deductions.
    • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc
    • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

    Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

    • At least six months in lost found, inventory or similar position.
    • At least 18 years of age.

    • Previous experience with cash handling.
