The Utility Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest room hallways, service areas, and assigned floors throughout the property. This role supports the Housekeeping Department by assisting with floor care, high dusting, furniture movement, and operating cleaning equipment, contributing to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and team members.

Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest floor hallways, elevator landings, service corridors, and back-of-house areas, including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down surfaces.
  • Care for carpets, upholstery, drapery, and hard flooring in guest rooms and hallways, using appropriate equipment and procedures.
  • Perform high dusting and deep cleaning of guest rooms and public floor areas, including vents, light fixtures, baseboards, and other hard-to-reach areas.
  • Stripping rooms, removing all dirty linens (sheets, towels, etc.) and used amenities, ensuring a fresh, clean space for the next guest.
  • Assist with pull rooms and general cleaning of rooms being taken out of service for maintenance or refurbishment.
  • Transport, load, and unload linens, supplies, and equipment safely using tug carts or designated transport equipment.
  • Deliver linens, guest supplies, and amenities to Guest Room Attendants and other team members as needed.
  • Move, rearrange, or remove furniture when requested for cleaning or project tasks.
  • Perform bio-hazard cleanup following proper safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals properly in accordance with OSHA standards, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and departmental training.
  • Ensure all chemical bottles are correctly labeled and stored safely at all times.
  • Monitor assigned hallways and guest floors for trash, debris, glassware, dishes, or other items; remove and transport to designated disposal locations.
  • Respond to guest and team member requests professionally, directing or assisting as appropriate.
  • Use housekeeping radios, iPods, or mobile devices to communicate, receive assignments, and update task completion.
  • Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

Summary Statement:

The Executive Director of Food & Beverage provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all F&B outlets within a luxury casino resort. This role is responsible for driving profitability, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and aligning F&B operations with the property’s brand standards and gaming strategy. The ideal candidate will possess deep financial acumen, a passion for luxury service, and the ability to lead complex, 24/7 operations in a regulated environment.

Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive F&B strategy aligned with the casino’s luxury brand and business goals.
  • Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue optimization through menu engineering and promotional initiatives.
  • Lead and supervise daily operations across multiple venues including restaurants, bars, lounges, banquets, and buffet outlets.
  • Partner with Executive Chef to guide menu development and maintain exceptional product quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with marketing and revenue teams to create high-impact promotions, events, and sponsorship-driven packages.
  • Cultivate vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure premium product sourcing and favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and gaming regulations.
  • Drive Forbes luxury service standards and lead initiatives to achieve and maintain high ratings.
  • Build strong relationships with bargaining partners and ensure contract compliance.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Strategic thinking and financial management expertise.
  • Deep understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience design.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills, including mentoring and succession planning.
  • Ability to manage complex operations in a 24/7 casino environment.
  • Knowledge of gaming regulations and hospitality compliance standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially with VIP clientele and bargaining representatives.
  • Must be comfortable being highly visible and approachable in public areas for extended periods to ensure guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive F&B leadership experience, preferably in a luxury or casino environment.
  • At least 21 years of age.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or related field.
  • Advanced training or certifications in food safety, luxury service, or financial management.
  • Pre-opening experience in a luxury hospitality or casino setting.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to obtain the following:
    • Alcohol Awareness Card
    • Food Handler Card
